Diets
There will be two diets per year of Part 1 and Part 2 for both MFDS and Dental Specialty Fellowship Examinations.
- Part 1 diets will run in late January/early February and August.
- Part 2 diets will run from April-June and October-December. The exception to this is the Spring 2027 diet which is scheduled from Feb-April 2027. There will be no April-June diet in 2027.
Fees
All fees must be paid in full at the time of application in order to complete your application to sit an examination. Withdrawals from an examination prior to the application window closing are eligible for refunds subject to the relevant exam’s regulations (MFDS and Dental Specialty Fellowship Examinations).

Examinations Schedule
All application windows will be phased, with up to three phases for all examinations.

2027 and 2028 Diet Dates
Please note that for Part 2 exams that are running across multiple dates, candidates are only required to attend one day and will be assigned this following the closing of the application window.
