MFDS Examiners for the new tri-collegiate MFDS exam
Applications for examiners who practice in the United Kingdom are open and the details are below. A second phase of applications will open for those practicing outside the United Kingdom at a later date.
Examiners who currently support the existing MFDS exams offered by the Colleges are welcome to apply if you have capacity to help with both exams and can continue to meet your commitment on the current exams. Otherwise, a plan to transition examiners at a later date will be communicated and your continued involvement will be appreciated.
Applications close on Monday, 21 July at 9am.
Dental Specialty Fellowship Examination Examiners
The Dental Specialty Fellowship Examinations invited applications for examiners from which the Exam Boards will be formed. These applications closed on 12 May 2025. Applicants will be contacted in the coming weeks with information on the the next steps.
If you missed this cut off date, and would still like to be part of the examiner team, please complete the new application form. These applications will be reviewed by the Exam Board Chairs over the coming weeks and months where additional help is needed for exam development and then when the new exam dates are being planned.
Current examiners would also be welcome to submit the form to continue in the role as examiners when the new diets are planned. Formal communication of transition plans for existing ISFE and specialty membership examiners will be shared in Autumn 2025.
